RACE REPORT

Off at the second time of asking, and just 4 minutes late, it was the Behan pair of Monla and St Dromack who set out to make it a strong early pace, closely followed by Roman Market, Sweet Wall and Haintonette. Rounding the final bend Monla was sending out distress signals, while Maquillage and Haintonette moved up to challenge Sweet Wall. Inside the distance Maquillage had a good tussle with Hainonette, but the latter was the stronger and won by a short head, with 4 lengths back to Sweet Wall.
